Matthew Hausman, CPA, Principal

Responsibilities

Matthew Hausman is a Principal in the Real Estate and Transaction Advisory Services Groups at Miller Cooper. He specializes in providing attest, accounting, and consulting services to healthcare, commercial, residential and affordable housing real estate companies, particularly those owned by family offices, private equity firms and institutional investors. His work also includes delivering financial due diligence for buy- and sell-side transactions, primarily for private equity and institutional clients in the professional services sector.

Relevant Experience

Matthew brings extensive expertise in audits, reviews and compilations for real estate clients. He also provides strategic advisory services to help clients achieve long-term objectives, including operational due diligence, acquisition and disposition assessments, cash flow analysis, and litigation support.

Throughout his career, Matthew has played a key role in overseeing financial reporting and implementing accounting systems for real estate family offices managing assets ranging from $20 million to $1 billion. He has experience working with organizations of various sizes, from small teams of two to larger groups of up to 200 employees.

Educational and Professional Activities

Matthew is a graduate of State University of New York Oswego. He is a licensed certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Illinois CPA Society and the New York Society of Certified Public Accountants.
