Kevin M. Zanni, ASA, CVA, CBA, CFE, CEIV, Principal

Kevin M. Zanni is a Principal with Miller Cooper and the Director of Valuation Services. His work includes valuation consulting, economic damages analysis and financial advisory services.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:  Mr. Zanni has been a valuation analyst for more than 20 years. He prepares valuation analyses for purposes of tax planning and compliance, transaction due diligence, financial accounting and reporting, and forensic analysis and dispute resolution. He provides expert testimony when required.

Mr. Zanni has experience preparing the following types of analysis assignments including business and stock valuations, economic damages analyses, income producing property valuations, intangible asset impairment and purchase price allocation analyses, interest-bearing debt valuations, lost profits analyses, option and warrant valuations, private inurement opinions, preferred stock valuations, and restricted stock valuations.

Mr. Zanni prepares analysis for companies in a broad range of industries including agriculture, automotive dealer, automotive fleet management, construction, distribution, education, finance, life sciences, manufacturing, public utilities, real estate, and retail. He typically works on for-profit, nonprofit, publicly traded, closely held businesses, and asset holding companies.

Prior to joining Miller Cooper, Mr. Zanni served as a Managing Director and the Director of the Chicago Office for a national valuation firm. He is also a prior Miller Cooper employee.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES:  Mr. Zanni received a Bachelor of Science in business administration and finance and a Master of Arts in international business from the University of Florida. He has written numerous articles on the valuation of equity securities and has presented at national valuation professional organization annual conferences. He is a past president of the Chicago chapter of the American Society of Appraisers. He is also the past president of and a current board member of the Business Valuation Association of Chicago.
