Responsibilities

Luke Chalk is a Tax Principal at Miller Cooper. He oversees tax compliance and consulting engagements across a diverse client base. Luke’s experience ranges from serving small closely held businesses to large global organizations.

Relevant Experience

Luke has over 10 years of experience in public accounting. He works with operating businesses and their individual owners to identify tax planning opportunities and complete annual reporting requirements. Luke also regularly advises clients on M&A transactions, including deal structuring and the related tax implications for both buyers and sellers. He works with clients in a range of industries, including manufacturing, distribution, private equity, professional services, and technology.

Education and Professional Activities

Luke received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Illinois and a member of the Illinois CPA Society.
