Luke D. Peifer, CPA, Principal

Responsibilities

Luke Peifer is a Principal in Miller Cooper’s Transaction Advisory Services group and a member of the firm’s Assurance and Accounting Department. He oversees the day-to-day execution of buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for clients across a wide range of industries. In addition to serving clients, Luke plays an active role in recruiting, mentoring, and training both new and experienced team members.

Relevant Experience

Luke advises clients in a variety of industries, with significant experience in insurance brokerage, construction, manufacturing, distribution, and service-based businesses. In addition to leading financial due diligence engagements, Luke assists clients with post-acquisition accounting matters related to mergers and acquisitions, including net working capital true-ups and dispute resolution. In addition to his public accounting experience, Luke has two years of accounting and financial reporting experience with an insurance brokerage.

Education and Professional Activities

Luke earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society.
