Scott Sejna, CPA, Principal

Responsibilities

Scott Sejna is an Audit Principal in the Assurance and Accounting department and possesses experience serving middle market, privately held companies of all sizes. Scott is responsible for the management and supervision of his engagement teams. In addition to serving clients, Scott is active in firm recruitment and training new and experienced hires.

Relevant Experience

Scott has been with Miller Cooper since 2014 and has a diverse client base and specializes in audits, reviews, and compilations of construction companies, manufacturers and distributors, service businesses, and technology. Scott has exclusively served privately held companies in the middle market and he is also involved with general business consulting, due diligence engagements, agreed-upon procedures and financial accounting special projects. In addition, Scott works on audits for Miller Cooper’s employee benefit plan group and has a substantial amount of experience with ESOP-owned businesses.

Education and Professional Activities

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Accounting Science degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a licensed certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois CPA Society.
