Suzanne Askar, CPA, Principal

Responsibilities

Suzanne Askar is a Principal in the Transaction Advisory Services group at Miller Cooper. She leads buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements and advises clients throughout the transaction lifecycle. Suzanne also assists with transaction-related accounting matters, including net working capital analyses, opening balance sheet preparation, and post-closing dispute resolution.

Relevant Experience

In addition to her transaction advisory experience, Suzanne has six years of public accounting experience in the firm’s Assurance and Accounting department and seven years of private industry accounting experience, including serving as Controller of a manufacturing company. She has advised private equity firms and middle-market companies across a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, construction, technology, and business services.

Education and Professional Activities

Suzanne earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois Chicago.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Illinois CPA Society.
